Ben Platts

I am a freelance camera operator/assistant and editor based in Bristol. I have over 7 years experience working on a diverse range of productions including corporate, broadcast TV, OB, documentary, music videos and live events including music, sports, festivals and fashion. I have worked for a variety of well know production compaines such as the BBC, RDF, Endemol, Roll to Record and NEP.

I have experience working with a wide range of equipment including HD, DSLR, XDCAM, HDV, DV Cam and DVC Pro camera's, track and dollies and Jibs. I own my own Full HD DSLR camera with slider track and steadi cam rig and sound recording equipment. I have been editing with Final Cut Pro for over 8 years and run my own FCP edit suite.

I have produced a variety of work for various corporate clients, high quality bespoke Wedding videos, promotional profiles for artists, documentaries and a number of music videos for bands and solo artists. As well as this I have worked as a freelance cameraman and editor on a large number of productions including broadcast TV.
